Sislin Fay Allen

I see Sislin in her uniform, standing tall and proud,
She’s a cop, keeping the community safe
People would have stared at her,
they may have thought this wasn’t right.

I feel proud.

She must have gone through a lot, like me.
I imagine her family, helping her through the difficult times
Protecting her from the jeers and sneers
I wish to be like her – brave, powerful, helping her community.
