Young Archivists: Exhibition announcement!
Join us for ‘Archives Can Be Anything’, an exhibition of creative projects made by the Young Archivists in response to our archives and local history collections!
You can expect artworks, zines, films, poetry and more – co-created by ten local 14-18 year olds to share their perspectives on Croydon, heritage and underrepresented histories.
‘Archives Can Be Anything’ will be free to visit and open to the public from 26th February - 10th May 2025. The exhibition will take place in the Museum of Croydon Atrium and Exhibition Gallery, on the ground floor of Croydon Clocktower, Katharine Street, CR9 1ET.
The exhibition will be activated by a series of events happening in April 2025 during the Easter holidays, offering opportunities for young people and the local community to engage with the exhibition and our collections in interactive and accessible ways.
Young Archivists is made possible with the National Lottery Heritage Fund, with thanks to National Lottery Players.
